Rangel Unimpressed With Obama's Offense

Fun quote from New York congressional dean and Hillary supporter Charlie Rangel from a recent conversation about Barack Obama's criticism of Clinton's vote in favor of a bill labeling Iran's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist group:

"Poor Obama. He thinks he is raising hell by saying he didn’t like Hillary’s vote. He thinks that's an attack, you know? Well, goddamn. They can get me to say I don’t like her vote either, but that’s not an attack."

It must be a slow morning when a Rangel "observation" is news. (It's interesting that a prominent black congressman is attacking Obama is such a condecending manner -- Hmmm!)

Back to my main point. Since when is a criticism an attack. Sen Obama only sought to place his opponent's vote in its proper context. Clinton's vote again gives President Bush the pretext needed to pursue aggression against Iran. It fits neatly with her vote to authorize war against Saddam Hussein's regime. I only hope that this time our esteemed Senator "read" the NIE. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. That is unless Sen Clinton really is a hawk.
Which is Obama's point.

Lastly, the Clintonistas is the media seem to have stepped up their efforts to advance Hillary's "nevitability." (Or should I say, coronation?)

The Congresman of New York is being true to who he is supporting the Clinton; his meal ticket! Charles just want that library in his name so he can claim to be on the level of the Clinton library. He think putting down President Obama will get him support from the money machine! It's sad that these older civil right activist now politicans, who've been there in Washington for years are the ones President Obama is talking about, with that Washington way of thinking. You see for years these black Congresmen carried the water for the party and they know how the system works and it's there turn to get paid, and they're not willing to let President Obama come in an change the rile of the game, before they can get there hands in the cookie jar. Most of them dont want to hear his talk of change. This why many of the CBC want support President Obama, this should be a know brainer for us as black people to support the first black president; who truly has the greatest oppertunity to optaining this goal, because he truly has that gift to draw all people to his platform for America. An the pride that would come as a result would change the way we see ourselve and think of ourselve as a people an race.

Who cares what this old yes sir no sir thinks about Obama? He'll be dead or retired in a few years and Obama will be in his second term as President of the United States. These old 1960's black politicians have had almost 50 years to achieve something, and the best they could offer was Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, John Lewis, and an irrelevant virtually meaningless Congressional Black Caucus.

Obama will do in the next 10 months what those clowns couldn't do in 5 decades. GO OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get lost Rangel.
