Bloomberg on Weiner Position: 'One of the Stupider Things I've Ever Heard'
Michael Bloomberg was in rare form this morning at the Crain’s business breakfast in midtown, where the mayor lashed out at two of his least favorite entities: Anthony Weiner and reporters.
In response to Weiner‘s assertion that the mayor’s congestion pricing plan would lead to reduced federal aid for transportation, Bloomberg said:
“I have nothing against any one congressman [but] that is one of the stupider things I’ve ever heard said. Forget the fact that he’s one of the congressmen who’s supposed to get the money for us. The Democrats control—his party controls Congress—what’s he talking about? Number two, by that argument, we should cut all the taxes, which some people would like, and then just sit here and wait to give us all the money back. Are you kidding? It’s insanity.”
And later, when asked about David Paterson’s—so far—noncommittal position on congestion pricing, Bloomberg said, “It’s a question you should address to him, and maybe it’s a more appropriate question to ask than the questions the press has been asking.”

Michael Bloomberg is so much smarter than Anthony Weiner that it's not even a contest. And he is absolutely correct about Weiner's position.
The trouble is that Weiner doesn't even enjoy any respect from his fellow democrats. He's a boob and Bloomberg knows it. He was being as nice and civil as possible.
Weiner is a fool, but who are the real fools?? Those of us in the 9th district who keep re-electing him. When will we ever learn? We keep sending subhumans to congress and the statehouse.

Weiner wouldn't be a bad mayor, I mean if you want to drive out all the business in New York City, you've got your man.
