On Tuesday, April 8th, Chez Pazienza will be self publishing his memoir, “Dead Star Twilight,” via his Web site, www.deusexmalcontent.com.

NYTV first wrote about Mr. Pazienza back in late February, following Mr. Pazienza's public dustup with his former employers at CNN.

To recap: While working as a producer on CNN’s American Morning, Mr. Pazienza penned a piece for the Huffington Post criticizing NBC for suspending correspondent David Shuster over his “pimped out” remarks—remember 2008?—concerning Chelsea Clinton. Afterwards, CNN gave Mr. Pazienza his walking papers.

Subsequently, in an interview with the Observer, Mr. Pazienza said that he was thinking about publishing a memoir about his rise as a young TV producer and subsequent descent into full-blown heroin addiction.

After showing the manuscript to three different publishers, Mr. Pazienza recently decided to skip over the publishing houses and release the story via his Web site.

“I've decided that I'm going to put my money where my mouth is—both as a writer and someone who claims to believe in the power of new media: I'm going to release my full-length memoir via the internet,” Mr. Pazienza recently wrote on deusexmalcontent. “I'll make it available for download from this site….”

The asking price, Mr. Pazienza told the Media Mob on Friday afternoon, will be $14.
