Clinton Campaign: Everything's Fine, Last Night Was 'Progress'

The Clinton campaign is not giving an inch, at least not yet.

Howard Wolfson just said at the top of this morning's conference call that the campaign would discuss how it would go forward to the "nomination and victory in November."

Clinton pollster and strategist Geoff Garin said "Indiana was obviously a close outcome but it was an outcome about which we feel very very good."

He said that Clinton came from behind and overcame Obama's spending advantage, and that it "represents significant progress."

he also made the eye-opening assertion that North Carolina does "represent progress for us" and that last night "strengthens the case that she will be the strongest nominee for the party in November."

Hillary Clinton's Aides' conference call this morning indicates this will be a LONG GOODBYE based upon HER own reality and beliefs. Nothing has changed for them. They just said basically their candidate is the candidate of white voters -- and they intend to keep throwing on the table he is a black candidate and can't win certain voters because he is black. They will keep changing the rules they WROTE and change them to suit this case. That's the case of Hillary and Bill Clinton, who will continuing loaning money to her Campaign (because nobody is willing to fund this case) to make this ridiculous and racist case which is unworthy of the leadership of the Democratic Party. We are NOT Republicans, Hillary. Now her case is to make sure HE doesn't win in November...and help make John McCain's case. The ultimate disrespect for Mr. Obama and the Democratic Party/voters who have repudiated her and her tactics.

Vanity play.

Turn the page, America.

OBAMA. OBAMA. OBAMA. OBAMA. OBAMA. OBAMA. OBAMA. OBAMA.

Let's see Hillary try to "steal" this headline.

Indiana was a good outcome? Really? Clinton won by the skin of her teeth having blown a double-digit lead.

Clinton's loss in North Carolina represent "significant progress?" If anyone can explain to me how being beaten by double-digits is significant progress I would be more than happy to hear THAT rationale! Her North Carolina loss strengthens her case of being the best nominee? What planet is the Clinton campaign on?

If this all represents progress, I'd hate to see their idea of setbacks...
