Nemazee Says Clinton Way Up in Ohio and Texas
Hassan Nemazee, one of Hillary Clinton's finance chairs, thinks that the punditocracy and media as a whole are getting way ahead of themselves in proclaiming Clinton sunk.
"The pundits are creating this impression that this is a foregone conclusion," said Nemazee, who thinks the Clinton campaign needs to do a better job of making clear that there is still a real path to victory for the candidate. "There needs to be a greater pushback on behalf of the campaign to make clear that this is far from over," he said. "Our internal numbers are showing us in both Texas and Ohio up by 8 points plus and the internal numbers have typically been fairly accurate for us."
Nemazee, like Bill Clinton and just about everyone else in Clintonland, allows that things get considerably bleaker if she fails to win one of those two states. That said, he thinks that wins in Texas and Ohio once again change the complexion of what has been an incredibly unpredictable race.
"If she is able to win both Texas and Ohio this is far from over,' said Nemazee. "And she will be able to put a stop to his ten wins in a row, pick up some delegates in Texas and Ohio and Pennsylvania and the other states where she can pick up a meaningful number of delegates."

Hillary as "Howard Beale" and no consistent message. Thursday night was one Hillary. Yesterday was another! "SHAME ON YOU BARACK OBAMA..." for tagging her/Billary with NAFTA, which has descimated OH, MI and many other so-called "heartland" and Southern States. Hillary Clinton has voted for NAFTA during her entire tenure in the United States Senate -- as our Senator, AGAINST the wishes of New Yorkers. MI needs to wake up! OH, TX need to do some research. Hillary has voted to extend NAFTA to South America! Bill Clinton's deals that we know of include technology to Eastern European/former Soviet States...and Dubai! Hillary Fails to File Full Slate for Pennsylvania Primary
Hillary Clinton’s supposedly well-organized presidential campaign failed to file a full slate of convention delegate candidates for what may be a crucial primary in Pennsylvania on April 22.
But it could have been worse if Gov. Ed Rendell — a Clinton supporter — hadn’t extended the filing deadline, citing “winter weather” and the “closure of interstates at various times.”
The original filing deadline was Feb. 12 at 5 p.m. At that point, the Clinton campaign was reportedly 21 delegate candidates short. Rendell extended the deadline to Feb. 14 at noon, allowing 10 more Clinton delegate candidates to file but still leaving the campaign 11 candidates short.
The extension “could be viewed as more than just coincidental,” John Baer notes in the Philadelphia Daily News.
Clinton’s rival Barack Obama did file a full slate in Pennsylvania.
Baer observes regarding the Clinton effort in the state: “For a national campaign stressing competence, experience, ‘ready day one,’ one might expect a full slate in what could be a key state…
“It seems to me, in a state that could be important, in a state known for bad winter weather, a forward-looking campaign might be, well, more forward-looking.”

From what I've read, it's almost mathematically impossible for Hillary to prevail. Mr. Nemazee is speaking in terms of single-digit margins, 8 points. Hillary needs huge double-digit margins which so far have alluded her.
What seems mathematically impossible to me, is the Clinton campaign spending $95,000 on munchies at one specific Iowa grocery store during the span of a few hours. I don't think this tab includes liquor purchases--only food. Wow!

If Hiliary is elected president then that means that a majority of the voters have decided to install her as the Commander and Chief of the Armed Forces. I suppose that makes Bill the First Man, with not a whole lot to do except manage the female aids. That sounds like the fox guarding the hen house dosen’t it. But wait, Bill can also devote quite a bit of time to his foundation and valued contributors. What a deal, it sounds like having your cake and eating it too. Or to make the situation even more profoundly absurd if something happens to Hiliary then Bill’s back. Vote Republican and your worst concerns are over.

70% of the CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN vote. Now why would so many CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS vote for Obama? Because he representes their beliefs, with a 100% rating from the Ultra Liberal ADA, a higher score than ANY OTHER SENATOR including Teddy Kennedy? Because he has won their hearts and minds? Or that he is a Uniter and not a Divider (seems I heard that phrase before, from a Compassionate Conservative by the name of George W. Bush)?
Because he claims to have always been against the War in Iraq, even though he is one of the only Democrats to vote in favor of making Condi Rice Secretary of State? Rice was one of the prime architects of the Iraq War as Bush's Top Defense Advisor and to this day has never wavered from her decision to advise Bush to attack a nation that was never any threat to America.
Maybe that is why they voted for him, since he is the only Democrat to directly support the War in Iraq by supporting the author of that war....
No, that isn't why they voted for Obama. The reason they voted overwhelmingly for BO is because they know he is the only HOPE of the Republican Party to remain in control of the White House.
Just as most Republicans where I live, in the most Conservative County in Illinois, voted for Obama despite the fact that virtually nobody is for him for President here. Because we also know he is the only hope of seeing John McCain as President of the United States.
So all of you voters in Ohio go out and vote for Obama because a vote for Obama is a vote for McCain to be our next President.

I'll expect that they will just find more spinning to do. I can hear it now Texas is a republican state anyway so that doesnt matter and Ohio went to Bush in the last election so that too doesnt matter.
This is going to the convention regardless because Hillary is waiting for Obama to fall. If she can't push him down with the Rovian attack and saying that he is like Bush who also wanted change she will drag it out and let the republicans do the dirtywork for her. So this is going to the convention regardless. It amazes me that Hillary has lost 10 in a row her camapign is in shambles her message changes constantly along with her but we are suppose to believe that she is the best candidate because she has been vetted whatever that means. I guess vetted means being angry and fighting back and shouting shame on you and saying that democrats should open their eyes as to who Obama is. Obama said he was going to stick to the issues which he did with Nafta and the healthcare mailer. She is the one that is giong around accusing him of Plagiarism what does that have to do with the issue. She is also the one talking about some contrubution he recieved from a radical group back in 2001 again what does that have to do with the issue. Apparently the voters eyes have been close but hey they are just delusional so what do we expect.
I find it ironic that she thinks that she can accuse Obama of certain things like Plagiarims even though she is doing the same thing and her defense is well he is the one basing his campaign on words. No he is not if you go to his webpage you see all his policies that he is reading. The media and Hillary are ones basing his campaign on just words. So now her comparing him to Rove its Ok because she is not the one that is going around saying that she is running a different kind of politics so its OK for her to behave Rovian like towards him while he is suppose to run a campaign with a different kind of politics. I'm truly befuddled by some of the spins that the Clinton have going on and expect it to sell. They are basically saying dont judge me by what I'm doing but judge him by what he is doing even though we are doing the same things.
Since the elders in the democratic party are afraid of the Clintons. All I know is this is going to Denver and she will Tear this party in two you can bank on that.
