At a press conference yesterday about racial profiling, State Senator Eric Adams said he thought that if Barack Obama, David Paterson or Malcolm Smith "were sitting in a vehicle in South Jamaica, Queens," they could find themselves victims of racial profiling, like Sean Bell and his friends allegedly were.

After the press conference, I asked Adams to elaborate on what he thinks of the prospect of having Paterson, Smith and Obama (particularly if he becomes president) in positions of prominence.

“I think better of New Yorkers and the country," he told me. "We’ve had all white officials and no one said, ‘Well, it’s time to put a black or Asian or Hispanic.’ It’s what’s the best for New York City."

Adams is also supporting Bill Thompson for mayor, meaning that if his candidate wins, New Yorkers could have African Americans as their mayor, governor and president simultaneously. "I think that it just so happens that Bill Thompson is my candidate for mayor," Adams said, explaining that race wasn't the reason for his choice. "I think he’ll be the best for New York City.”

Of course if Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, Governor David Patterson, Comptroller Bill Thompson, Council Member Malcolm Smith, Senator Eric Adams or ANY black person in a prominent or high profile position can be a victim of racial profiling. The only element that's needed is if they're black & not recognized! All non-white/African-Americans are potential targets for Police Brutality, Corruption and other negative targetting especially. Unfortunately some prejudiced and racist people follow groups like the K.K.K., Skinheads and other White Supremacists are bent on their ignorant & racist way of thinking while doing their best to keep the great United States divided and ununited as much as possible. Those that are inspired by them need to know God and get their acts together. God doesn't like ugly. We are ALL God's children. We ARE all one people.............God's people!

Respectfully & Sincerely, Ms. Victoria Mary Stong / Humanitarian & Civil Rights & Community Activist-Long Island City, N.Y.

"Racism is an insult to God!"

RACism is a card, we have a deck of cards, you pull this out when you really want to win, it's been in the deck for years, it's used mostly by BLACK LEADERS, it's their way of making a living, history is their strongest sudject, i don't read or write but i am good at history and even better at a game of cards, there was a time you had to hirer Blacks, a % had to be hired, they took away alot of jobs in this country, however SOME didn't want a job, they couldn't firer their asses so we carried them in the work forse, we carried them in housing, we carried them in ED.and all they had to do was give us a history lesson, talk and cry RACISM, this was the wild card the winner of the deck, has always been, will always be, we were taught to over look it, we still over look it, we are over looking it with a person, half BLACK, running for president, to hell with what he might do to this country, to hell with a church for 20 yrs. damming AMERICA, to hell with ower beliefs, ower FLAG, it's in the cards people, he's BLACK, if he doesn't win, it will be because he's BLACK, dam the WHITEY'S, GOD DAM AMERICA for not letting me win this card game, if he win's, it will be GOD DAM AMERICA, say it, don't think it, your WHITE, don't play this game to keep peaces, it has to come to a end somewhere in HISTORY.Personally i am looking forward to see it come to a end, this young BLACK isn't what we need to change this country, only the people are, get them in the BOOTH, this is change.

Senator Adams is a trustworthy public servant. Fortunately, there is a new politics in America, which is called upon to restore our sacred democracy and return it to us. We, the people are seeking to elect public officials that will represent the people, and not just the donors who can afford to buy in...it's called government by the people for the people, and its as radical idea now as it was when it was first born, do you remember? Please don't ever forget. So, that government for the people, by the people shall never perish from the earth.
