Harrison Will Have Some Money This Time

harrison
Here’s an invitation to Democratic congressional candidate Stephen Harrison’s February 27 fund-raiser at Social Bar in Midtown West.

The event is being organized by Lewis Cohen, a local fund-raiser here who has been keeping busy with a number of these get-togethers.

It's the kind of financial infrastructure that Harrison was missing when he ran against the Republican incumbent, Vito Fossella, in 2006. The lack of money was a major reason the party didn’t support Harrison at all.

The guest speaker for the event is Frank Barbaro, the Democratic candidate who had the most success against Fossella to date. Another noteworthy name is at the top of the host committee: Gloria Steinem.

If I'm not mistaken, the picture is of the Bay Ridge side of the bridge; a smart candidate would understand that that is the WRONG side.

Does Steinem understand that Harrison is the candidate in the primary who favors criminilization of late term abortions?

I'm going to be making the trip to NYC for this event. Steve has the best chance yet for overturning Republican rule in the 13th district.
Mr. Cohen's past presentations have always been well organized and well attended. Steve Harrison has a solid foundation with this event. Looking forward to meeting another great candidate at another great event!
