Jon Voight Comments on Daughter Angelina Jolie's Possible Pregnancy

Our intrepid political reporter Jason Horowitz is following Rudy Giuliani around Florida this week. On Rudy's press plane, the legendary actor Jon Voight (Midnight Cowboy, Deliverance), a supporter who is traveling with the presidential hopeful today, took a break from such topics as Franklin D. Roosevelt, the nature of the media and the normal guyness of Mr. Giuliani to address today's rumors that his daughter, Angelina Jolie, is pregnant.

“It’s wonderful news that she’s having another child, if that’s true," the 69-year-old told reporters on the plane. "I can’t count on anything the press says about her because there is so much said but she has certainly captured the imagination of the press.”

No wonder she doesn't talk to this man. He supports the Guli.
Great for them if she is preggers, they look steamy together. I'd buy their sex tape too!

is it possible that the baby could be born on 9/11?

They could make Rudy the godfather.

What an idiot! Traveling with the Ghoul? His ignorance is amazing.

Anonymous (not verified) says:

She wasn't talking to him way before Giuliani ever decided to run.

That's her decision, and that's fine, but I would never say it's anything less than tragic when a family cuts each other off like this.

Agreed.

It's ridiculous to suggest that whenever a family breaks apart it's a tragedy. Lots of people walk away from their genetic units because they are sick, manipulative, any host of issues. I say, if you are brave enough to walk away from a bad father or family, particularly in the face of the overwhelmingly widespread belief that such an action is "tragic," good for you.

Anonymous (not verified) says:

Maybe it is still tragic Jan, but the tragic part is that the family is sick or manipulative, which makes the only healthy choice for someone to disengage from those relationships. I have no idea what their issues are, and mostly don't care. LOL, I wound up here on a lark for a part for my word processor. Isn't it amazing what the internet can do (or not do)? But I DO wish that all of us would work on our own issues more, then so much of this kind of stuff would not be necessary. We might not have the relationships we wish for, but we would have 'faced our own demons' and know that the choices we made (to be in or out of relationships with others) isn't because we are running from things we don't want to face about ourselves. Rather, we might decide to have a surface relationship with someone who we love, yet still can't get to a healthy place. We have worked on our own stuff enough, that THEIR dysfunction doesn't push our buttons, and we are able to be in a place of peace, no matter what others are doing. Now that kind of discussion I could get into, versus what celebrities are doing!

I probably won't be able to find my way back here but I completely agree with what the person has written. Sometimes you have to take the high horse and let people realize (e.g. when it comes to Angelina's daddy) that they have to consider the source, while you accept the family members, warts and all. Ignore the stupid stuff they are quoted saying, and just love them while they are still with us.

Jon may have not always been right...but the fact remains...he is her father. He brought her into this world and he will leave with her. I think Angi should get off her dead ass and contact him before it is too late. Angi has emotional issues that need to be delt with between them. Angi is using her "save the children ploy" to cover up her emtional issues that only her father and her can resolve. If you ever read this Jon. Good luck. Life is never perfect.

Anonymous (not verified) says:

I think it is ridiculous that big movie star like Angie can't solve the problems with her father. I know families where fathers weren't perfect bet they are still in their lifes. I love Agie and Brad dearly but I would love her even more if she lets her father in her life again. Life is too short. Think fast. Good luck to all of you!
