Lambda Endorses Connor, Declines to Endorse in Towns-Powell Race

Brooklyn’s oldest and largest gay Democratic club, Lambda Independent Democrats, endorsed neither Representative Ed Towns nor his challenger, Kevin Powell, at its endorsement meeting last night.

In the heated State Senate race between State Senator Marty Connor and his challenger, Dan Squadron, the club chose Connor.

I've put in some calls to find out more--I'll update when I hear back.

Another surprise Connor victory at a progressive club he lost the last time.

Ken Diamonstone supporters and other progressive continue to rally for Connor against pro-war, pro-DOMA, Pro one way Verrazano toll Schumer's little bearded pet rock.

Do you believe in guilt by association?

Connor's ambush of Suqadron at LID has all the fingerprints of Allen Roskoff. It's nice to know that Connor and Roskoff have kissed and made up. For those of you who forgot about their previous split, check out this page from Lambda's own website:

Now check this recent Letter to the Editor by Roskoff:

What do they say about politics making strange bedfellows?
