Marty Golden Golfing at the Battleground
Here's an invite for State Senator Marty Golden's July 7 golf fund-raiser.
Golden is running for re-election and has no challengers so far. But he is a Republican from New York City, and if Democrats win a majority in the Senate, he'll be in the minority--so it still seems appropriate that the event will be held at the (oddly named?) Battleground County Club in New Jersey.
Holding your fundraiser in New Jersey. Way to contribute to the New York economy Senator.
What's the matter with Dyker Park Golf Course or the Golf Course on Flatbush Avenue (sorry I can't remember the name).
Way to go Marty, take business out of New York City.
When I first opened the envelope I did a double take.
I then began to wonder whether Senator Golden is so out of touch with the issues facing the people of the State of New York that he feels the need to raise money in New Jersey?
