Quinn Defends Members Against Reports

At today’s City Hall press conference where Christine Quinn detailed her new budget reform proposals, I noticed there were a few City Council members there who had their own member items called into question in various news stories.

When I asked if those members would comment on the new proposals, Quinn stepped in reminded the room that no council member has been legally accused of anything.

It's still very early in the investigation. The DOI & the US Attorney Offices don't schedule their indictments according to Ms. Quinn whims. I think you have to give this investigation some more time, I would be very surprised if NO Councilmembers including Ms. Quinn are not indicted. The investigators are following a large paper trail... who really knows where this will lead to? These very important reforms are just back peddling on her part, anyone can see through this.

The YOUTUBE video link below accurately depicts what it feels like to work for Speaker Christine Quinn and her deputy legislative director Laura Popa. Now Speaker Quinn wants to further abuse the taxpayers of New York by steering taxpayer money to her corrupt cronies:

Amazing video: Watch Quinn's eyes at the beginning. She is the visual definition of "shifty."
