Helen Sears on 'Hard Decisions' in Queens

Earlier this afternoon, I asked City Councilwoman Helen Sears of Queens about the political scene in her neighborhood, where the Democratic Party organization decided not to endorse incumbent State Senator John Sabini for reelection. Instead, they are backing his challenger, Councilman Hiram Monserrate.

Sears, a Sabini ally, said she couldn't really comment, but did tell me, “There are political decisions that are made." She added, “They’re hard decisions.”

“But once they’re done, we need to move on and we need to see that we’re unified as a party,” she said finally.

Helen Sears is a cop out. She has no Chutzpah. Helen is now the new Coward of Queens. Sabini doesn't deserve this.

They're all cowards. And scum. No backbone, no principle.

Helen sold out Sabini for a BS state committee post for her stupid son (who hasn't had a job in 15 years) Helen - are you still paying off his credit card so he can keep making babies?
