Wolfson and Singer Push Rezko Narrative
On the Clinton campaign conference call this morning, spokesmen Howard Wolfson and Phil Singer once again directed attention to the fact that the Tony Rezko trial just started yesterday, and said that Barack Obama hasn’t answered all of the questions about it.
“The bottom line,” Wolfson began, “is that as Democrats prepare to vote and begin voting in Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island and Vermont, there are many, many, many more questions for Senator Obama with regard to the Rezko matter.”
Wolfson later added that the unanswered questions posed by the Clinton campaign were the "most basic" and he emphasized that there were also many questions that had been asked by the media that should be answered.
When Singer took over, he pointed out that yesterday was only the “beginning of jury selection” for the trail, but said that the Chicago Sun-Times reports (under the headline "Low-key start to Rezko trial," in the Metro section) that “the Obama campaign was concerned enough that they had a staff member dispatched to the courthouse to take notes.”
This, Singer said, “should set alarms off throughout the newsrooms of America.”
The main points Wolfson and Singer made were true--there are some questions Obama hasn't answered, and Rezko's trial is underway. It also seemed like another way of making a case to the press that the race, whatever today's result, is very much alive.

Does Hillary really want to open the nomination battle up to a tally of who's had the sleaziest, most shadowy contributors? The court and prison records of Clinton contributors and pals alone could fill the rest of the campaign.

Yesterday, Hillary soberly spoke of her "experience" and that of John McCain -- the REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE! She put herself in the same context (ticket?) as the REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE! OH and TX cannot vote for a Nixonian defacto George W. Bush -- or McCain-lite. The DNC had better be watching how Hillary and her surrogates have become defacto REPUBLICANS, who are now are actually PROMOTING HER CANDIDACY via MSNBC's latest mood swing and RUSH LIMBAUGH, who both know the Clinton's list of INDICTED FRIENDS and scandals better than we do! Hypocrites along with her. Where is THAT???
1. No tax records;
2. No donor records for the Clinton Library;
3. No White House Records upon which to base her "experience" and submit it to OUR vetting?
Putting forth a FALSE NARRATIVE, propogated by REPUBLICANS/CONSERVATIVE MEDIA about Mr. Obama -- is the final disgraceful exit for Hillary Clinton. NO DEMOCRAT WILL VALIDATE THIS IF SHE TAKES US ALL DOWN INTO THE SUMMER.

Susan Molinari (R-NY) (Ketchum DC?) is on MSNBC claiming Hillary Clinton has been treated unfairly by the media. REPUBLICAN SURROGATES FOR HILLARY. TX and OH are you awake? Not only has Hillary FUSED with Bill/his experience -- now she has FUSED with John McCain's experience and the REPUBLICAN PARTY.
It was only a matter of time before this scandal would touch Obama. He needs to be careful how he treads now, this is gonna bite him in the a$$ this Fall as well.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Led by the Chicago press corps that has covered Obama for years, the candidate today faced a barrage of questions in what turned out to be a contentious news conference. Questions centered on why his campaign had denied that a meeting occurred between his chief economic advisor and Canadian officials as well as questions on his relationship with Tony Rezko, a Chicago land developer and fast food magnate, now on trial for corruption charges.

This Rezko scandal-like flood of information sounds more and more like a country song with lying, and cheating. I don't know about drinking, but Obama should call Cindy McCain for beer, if he's in the mood for booze. Obama is a smooth-talker, so maybe he can smooth-talk his way out of this little/big problem. Where are the celestial choirs? Where are the violins?
Something is fishy about Obama's house purchase. The asking price was around $1,600,000 and Obama paid $1,300,000. Obama has admitted the expensive house purchase was a stretch for him. In other words, he couldn't afford it. Ain't that nice. Sound judgment!
Then there's the vacant lot purchase. Obama doesn't need Countrywide Mortgage he has the Tony Rezko family to finance the deal. Ain't that great. If a deal sounds toooooooo good to be true, it is.
Obama didn't seek a subprime loan when he bought the adjacent lot to his house. Noooooooo! Now Obama probably wishes he did seek a subprime loan. A Tony Rezko family loan turned out to be a little more risky than a Countrywide loan.
Obama has had super good luck wearing teflon suits. Nothing seems to stick, so all of this fishy stuff probably won't stick. Obama should keep the celestial choirs singing as they never seem to hit a bad note. Obama has hit a few bad notes but not the celestial choirs.

Obama paid $1,650,000 for the house, which was $300,000 less than the asking price. In addition, the house was purchased in 2005, so we all know the housing bubble had deflated big-time in 2005. Poof! Yeah! Obama apparently got a steal of a deal, while most people paid highly-inflated prices in 2005. The Rezko's paid full price, not a steal of a deal, for the vacant lot and then sold a chunk of it off to Obama.
Having friends, shady friends, in high places is so nice. Foreclosures really shouldn't be a problem, because everyone has powerful political connections. Yep!
Surely some of this Nafta and Resko stuff is going to stick. Obama is real slick, though. Nothing is going to stick on something real slick. No doubt Obama is probably spraying PAM on the teflon suits. Hillary is going to have a tough go.
Nothing is SLICKER THAN "SLICK WILLIE" -- and no intern is safe from him. Hillary can't protect interns at 3am, so how can she protect Americans? The Clinton SCANDALS and IMPEACHMENT have filled books and retired Prosecuters from AK to DC! Turn the page.
