I'm a PR flack, which means I'm about the same to journalism as a bail bondsman is to law enforcement. Yet to see the Times move from its venerable building still causes me sadness. I hope that the new tower with it's glass, steal and CAD-5 cable can absorb history in the way that the stone and wood of the only building did. Yet even then it will take a 100 years for walking into the the Times tower to give people me the same feeling on walking into the the 43rd street building. The only problem is I won't be here in 100 years.
Nothing that any one can do about it though but gripe... so that I will.
