When Scott Stringer went up to Albany I had high hopes that the supposed "west side liberal" would be a reformer, someone who could shake the power structure and actually be true to ideals. What an utter disappointment--a wasted decade spent serving as Shelly Silver's mini-me, taking handouts from lobbyists and "glad-handing" interns. People who watched his time in Albany know that any thoughts of higher office are absolutely delusional.
