I am baffled at how a self-described Republican can support John Edwards. He is even more liberal than Mrs. Clinton. Study the issues and each candidate's stances carefully. Study Edwards' record and study who supports him. By the way, study who supports Gov. Huckabee. I think all the candidates have a lot of 'splaining to do. Once the field narrows, the questions will get harder. Good thing Mrs. Clinton got her tears out now -- she can certainly not afford them later. As for who is the "change agent," no one is pledging to carry through with all of President Bush's track record so it's a meaningless claim. A change from Bush to Thompson, for example, would be a bigger change than Bush to any of the top 3 Dem candidates. Study, listen, and dig into the details. We are too willing to applaud the performance and like the performer when the real story is beneath the surface.
