Rivera drafting a bill?? Get real, will ya. If you review the various bills sponsored by Jose Rivera, you'd realize that they were written by lobbyists, and submitted to his staff/committee. I bet that if Rivera were asked about any particular bill that he is listed as having "drafted", and particular passages quoted to him, he'd be at a total loss to explain anything. As for his son, Joel--I recall that the very first bill he introduced to the City Council was to have a Bronx Street named after "Fat Joe" a rapper. Way to go guys! I am always amazed at these shallow, and less than mediocre tribes in the Bronx,ostensibly "representing" anybody except their own self-interest and that of their family members.
