This is one of those "stationary-only" Jewish organizations. This west side coojo does nothing for the community. It is a vanity organization for a guy named Mikee Landau who was described in the Forward newspaper as being paid by diplomats from foreign countries to lobby Jewish organizations because he sells them on the perception that Jews have all this power to help them. His big claim to fame is that he has clout with the local precinct, which he gets by taking the local police brass to basketball and hockey games (a definite no-no). It is a shame that elected officials do not vet these invitations to weed out the fakers.
Even though I live on the West Side, I am going to the COOJO from Flatbush event this Sunday for the real deal.
