I hate Elizabeth Gilbert and her BS it's-all-about-me-and-my-feelings story. As if woman's biggest longings are for love, food, and spirituality? (Oh, and a major book deal and Oprah spot.) I remain hopeful that we can still celebrate a contemptuous backlash on that one. Meanwhile, there's something sordid about revealing all aspects of your sex life (where and how often and how sluttily you do it) in order to get a book deal. The poor husband who is revealed to have slept with his "tired" wife "a handful of times" in one year. I feel sort of dirty after reading this. Yuck.
