Sounds like Murdoch & Co. are just going to spoon-feed the WSJ's naive, grass-fed editorial staff what they want to hear and continue to push the paper toward broader, less-intelliget content. But let's face it, it had grown boring and stale under Steiger and needs a punch-up. Lots of the folks who are complaining and pushing back now are going to be headed for the exits, willingly or unwillingly and the place sounds like the sort of working environment that's best enjoyed from the outside. And, say, has anyone noticed what a great read the New York Times has been lately?
