Denise to Eliot
I'm told that Eliot Spitzer will join former AG candidate Denise O'Donnell tomorrow at 12 30 at O'Donnell's former headquarters in Buffalo for some sort of announcement.
I would guess, based on the statement she made when she withdrew from the race this weekend, that O'Donnell will be joining the Spitzer campaign. I'd also guess, base on her credentials, that she'll be helping in some capacity with his women's outreach.
Just a hunch.

What credentials are those, exactly? That her genitalia are mostly on the inside, not the outside, of her body?
Wow. Thats kind of vulgar for a benign post about someone joining a campaign effort. Josh probably was alluding to the fact that she sits on the Board of the Women's Hall of Fame...
Here's a free clue - anyone meeting with Spitzer or Faso the next few weeks will announce their endorsement and pledge to support their candidacy.
I am just sorry that O'Donnell is out of the race. The AG race is now four men, non of whom have ever actually prosucted a race, standing in line to be governor.
In a sign of all hypocrisy the president of the Eleanor Roosevelt Legacy Committee endorsed her male opponent-Green. If that shows you how much other women were supporting O'Donnell. Denise adds substantive criminal justice experience to Spitzer
Denise is amazing, and much more than just a female. She's a prosecutor, she cares, she isn't fake like mostly politicians (aka Cuomo and Maloney), and she isn't arrogant (aka Green). And, she's from upstate and represents more than NYC.
She has a lot to offer Spitzer...and New York
With Denise of out the race, I have no reason to vote for a Democratic AG. None of them are qualified. As a matter of fact, I really don't want to vote for anyone on the democratic line since they saw fit to ice this woman out (who by the way happens to be the most qualified person in the race. That fact that Spitzer didn't really want to diversify his ticket troubles me. I believe that Jeannine Pirro will win as AG and too bad the first woman AG will be a Republican. We had a chance and now we blew it. So much for the democratic party being diverse and inclusive...
Spitzer couldn't fix it for O'Donnell. Just doesn't work that way, little lady... Ensuring the diversity of his ticket is probably why he picked Paterson, however, but LG was clearly the only race in which he could dictate the nominee.
Get a grip "sad to be a Democrat"! The Democratic ticket features an African-American man running for Lieutenant Governor and, in case you didn't notice, one of the most famous women in the country running for re-election to the Senate. If you think Pirro is qualified to be A.G. than you clearly have lost your marbles unless you think signing fraudulent joint tax returns that resulted in your husband going to prison is OK conduct for the chief law enforcement official in the State.
Does anyone else thing O'Donnell kind of just gave up? Is petitioning really that hard? Doesn't the logic of Green and Cuomo cannibalizing eachother with Denise coming out on top still hold in the electorate's mind?
3:22- AS for David Patterson on the ticket, please. Spitzer picked a black for a job that has no real responsibility. The everyday average person could not name the past three LG's for the state, so don't give me that bullshit. The LG only has power should something happent to the Govenor. The LG position is bullshit and you know it.If you think Spitzer could not have influenced the AG nomination than YOU really have no clue on how this works.
The Chief Law Enforcement Officer should be someone who at least has had some experience say "enforcing the law," and not be a perennial clown cadidate like Green, and KIng. The AG should certainly not be someone where his last name and the fact his daddy use to be Governor be his only qualifications.
It is indeed a sad day when a democrat defends that kind of bullshit and the real qualified candidate is not being supported. Moronic thought like yours is the reason George Bush is the President.
Sad, you really don't get it at all. First of all Spitzer tried very hard to find an AA woman to run for LG (Someone whose loyalties he could count on). Second does it make any sense for Spitzer to get involved in a race that where major suprters Mark Green and Mario Cuomo had an interest? Go be a Dem in a state less complicated than NY.
