Rivera: Spitzer is Not an Island
Here's Assemblyman and Bronx Democratic leader Jose Rivera on Eliot Spitzer, and on the mistakes he thinks the new governor may have made during the budget process.

Spitzer won on some issues, lost on others, but on balance made positive progress. On the other hand, the Bronx County Democratic Chairman has a boatload of problems in his own backyard that threaten his organization, and he should be working overtime to address them.
