WiFi in Brooklyn

According to the Brooklyn Eagle, the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Columbus Park, Cobble Hill Park, Carroll Park and Fort Greene Park may all see wireless Internet access by summer.

The Parks Department is still taking R.F.P.'s. The company that is selected to provide the service will pay the depertment $30,000 or 10 percent of the profits made through advertising on the portal's home page.
