If Times Square and supermodels are your thing, get excited for tonight's launch party for--yes!--New York's very own Hawaiian Tropic Zone Restaurant and Lounge. Hooterific.
Petra Nemcova will be the host, and better yet an entire block of 49th Street will be transformed into a tropical beach. Seriously: "pristine sands, balmy Queen Palm and Banana trees, an inviting hot tub, surfboards and chaise lounge chairs, and a DJ spinning energizing tunes from atop a 16-foot lifeguard tower."
When does sand compete with a 16-foot energizing DJ? When there are 700 cubic tons it. Along for the launch of this new gourmet hot spot are sweet-toothed Dylan Lauren, plus sweet-handed Giants Amani Toomer and Michael Strahan.

if you want to replicate the feeling of being in fort walton florida for spring break, this is the place. the food is the most vile swill imaginable; served up by the reiss chain which is responsible for vomiterias like TGIFs and Charley O's. if moonlighting russian hookers are your thing this is the place. enjoy.
I had the best meal ever at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone! The renowned chef, David Burke has done a great job and the restaurant is the most beautiful thing I have seen in years. The women are beautiful and they had a great wine list. If you can mix high end food and decor with beautiful women you have the Hawaiian Tropic Zone. We are going back next week for dinner!
I just got home from the Hawaiian Tropic Zone and we were amazed at how gorgeous a restaurant it is. My husband and his dad were in heaven seeing the beautiful women. We all had a great gourmet meal and the drinks were perfect.They have waterfalls and rich finishes. They also have a retail store that sells great jewelry and bathing suits. At one point the lights were dimmed and a mini bathing suit pageant took place with the girls of Hawaiian Tropic. We voted for the best looking beauty who won an award. They were gorgeous!I am taking my sister back for her birthday. I heard they are opening in Vegas next year.Yahoo!
