Christie Brinkley Is Not Going to Talk About That

On Sunday, August 3, Christie Brinkley hosted a Wild Wild West Carnival in Watermill to benefit the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

While waiting for Ms. Brinkley's arrival, the crowd, a mix of guests and reporters, gathered by stacks of hay put out to be the background for Ms. Brinkley's photo ops. Chatter about the former model's recent divorce from husband Peter Cook was in the air: "I don't know what I would have done, to be publicly embarrassed like that? No, uh-uh," said one guest. "I really hope she looks good when she shows up, I don't want to write a story about how shitty Christie Brinkley looks post-divorce," said a reporter. Us neither! read more »

Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook's Divorce Ends With a Stettlement

After pulling an all-nighter negotiating session at a Marriott hotel room in Islandia, Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook have finally settled in court this morning, the Post reports. And just like that, what seemed like the most important divorce of the year is over.

The settlement appears to be in Ms. Brinkley's favor, giving her custody of their two children and ownership of the couple's many properties in and around the Hamptons. Meanwhile, Mr. Cook will get a payout of $2.1 million and be allowed to see 10-year-old Jack and 13-year-old Sailor every Wednesday, on alternating weekends, and for some additional time during the summer.
