If You Tour 995 Fifth, You Will Buy
If you tour the model residences of 995 Fifth Avenue, chances are you will buy a unit in the building, according to Extell’s Gary Barnett.
Maybe he’s right.
Over half of the 26 units in the Upper East Side development have sold, according to a press release. In just 30 days, over $100 million in sales have been recorded.
The residences, which start out at $12 million, range in size from 4,100 to 8,400 square feet and there is a 7,000-square-foot penthouse with a 5,000-square-foot outdoor terrace.

Chetrit Drops $26 M. for Lenox Hill Hospital Properties
Lenox Hill Hospital is unloading some property.
The Upper East Side medical center recently sold six brownstones from 110-120 East 76th Street for $26 million, according to a spokesperson at the hospital. The buyer was the increasingly active Chetrit Group.
“These buildings were residential real estate owned by the hospital that had been sitting empty for a long time,” the spokesperson told The Observer. “They sit in a landmarked district and are in need of renovation.” read more »
