Blogette Meghan McCain Dines With Heidi Montag
Move over, Spencer Pratt. Heidi Montag, The Hills' why-is-she-famous-again? blonde has a new fair-haired companion: presumptive Republican nominee John McCain's blogging daughter, Meghan. The duo were reportedly spotted dining together at the Ivy in Los Angeles yesterday.
You might remember that Ms. Montag is a devoted McCain supporter, stating back in April that she's voting Republican because she says she thinks "McCain has a lot more experience." Mr. McCain responded, saying, "I’m honored to have Heidi’s support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started."
Ms. McCain has had her own share of the attention, chronicling her campaign travels alongside her father on her blog, McCainBlogette.

O.K., so let's recount the events here. First, Heidi Montag publicly endorsed McCain despite thinking that "no one cares who Heidi Montag votes for." Over The Hills?
Here’s a brilliant idea: You know what would make the conspicuously scripted MTV reality drama, The Hills, better? Old People!
Over the Hills—“a word for word reenactment of The Hills using elderly actors”—is produced by Heavy.com, a video site whose head of programming happens to be former Maxim editor Jimmy Jellinek. Maybe it’s the maturity factor or the lack of reliance on deadpan stares for dramatic effect, but the geriatric version of The Hills is actually ... kind of great. read more »
